당근을 흔드는 방법 How to shake a carrot

“도움이 필요하면, 당근을 흔들어 주세요.”라는 밈이 있다. 그리고 “당근을 흔들다” 혹은 “당근”의 의미가 “도움을 요청하다”라는 의미로 대체되어 쓰이고 있다. 크고 작은 도움을 필요로 하며 살아가지만, 적극적으로 도움 요청을 하지 못하는 우리의 모습을 나타낸다. 어쩌면 우리는 각자가 다양한 방식으로 당근을 흔들며 살아가고 있지 않을까.
There is a meme that says, If you need help, shake a carrot. And the meaning of “Shaking a carrot” or “carrot” is being replaced with the meaning of “asking for help.” It shows how we live in need of help, big or small, but we are hesitated to ask for help actively. Maybe we each live our lives shaking carrots in different ways.
